DEE HADLEY MD, ADVANCED MEDICAL AESTHETICIAN
Dee Hadley is one of the UKs leading authorities and experts in facial aesthetics. In 2013, she was made a member of the Allergan Medical Institute (the manufacturers of Botox®) and has been at the forefront of the most innovative and forward-thinking practice to emerge within cosmetic medicine. She was then head hunted to join the Geneva based Teoxane Medical faculty and consequently has been trained and mentored by the some of the world’s most leading and inspirational figures within the aesthetics industry, including the brain child of cosmetic medicine, Brazilian born Plastic Surgeon, Mauricio De Mayo.
Dee initially started life studying social policy. She continued to have a distinguished career within the NHS as a midwife, which has spanned over 25 years. She holds a teaching qualification in adult education, a first-class BSc (hons) Degree in Women’s Health and has studied for an MSc in Advanced practice.
Dee became interested in Anti-ageing and cosmetic dermatology over a decade ago and is the clinical director and founder of Beautoxology. She is an independent prescriber that leads a dynamic team that embraces her multifaceted and holistic ethos. Dee is particularly skilled in consultation and patient assessment. She believes that a multi-modality strategy is integral to obtaining optimal facial balance and natural enhancement. Her emphasis for long term preventative aging focuses on meticulous attention to volume replacement, facial lifting and contouring, and skin rejuvenation. Dee has now performed over 30,000 procedures. Her extensive experience and creative eye means that her appointment availability is limited and advanced booking is highly recommended.
Aside from Dee’s clinical work, she is heavily involved in her lecturing role, which takes her across Europe. Dee teaches the art and science of Aesthetic Medicine to Doctors, Nurses and Dentists, from foundation to Advanced Level. Dee has been invited as guest speaker to talk on facial rejuvenation at the Clinical Cosmetic and Reconstructive Expo, 13th Annual Skin Medical Congress and for the British association of Cosmetic Nurses. She also teaches regularly in Harley St. Dee has also been quoted in the national press and featured in Marie Claire talking about the safe administration of dermal fillers.
GEMMA BARNFIELD ADVANCED MEDICAL AESTHETICIAN
Gemma Barnfield holds her professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). She is a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and the Aesthetic Complications Expert Group (ACE).
Gemma’s clinical career commenced in 2002. Her experience is extensive and has ranged from managing her own patient caseload and developing and implementing care plans, through to speaking at national conferences on key issues relevant to current clinical practices. Gemma is committed to her professional development and also holds a degree in Human Biology and a qualification in mentorship which allows her to train, support and guide students and provide their final sign off, allowing them to practice. She successfully co-led a European qualification and subsequent study to teach Evidence Based Practice to health care workers and appears on a number of research papers. She is also a qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber meaning that she can provide holistic care plans to her patients.
Gemma’s Aesthetic career was born out of a genuine interest in anti ageing treatments and the pursuit of subtle, natural enhancement. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team having been trained by Dee Hadley and a host of worldwide experts. Gemma has an honest approach to her work and prides herself on working with patients to achieve realistic results.
She is particularly focused on clinical excellence and ensuring that patients receive the most appropriate treatment options and highest levels of care.
